- Customer Experience: Reviews from patrons vary — some highlight a friendly and helpful service, particularly when customizing drinks like caramel macchiatos. This personal touch and accommodating nature can elevate a customer’s experience, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Room for Improvement: However, not all feedback has commendatory notes. There are mentions of unfriendly staff and slow service, which detracts from the enjoyable ambiance one would hope for in a coffee shop. It's crucial that every visit feels as warm and inviting as the first.
- Delicious Offerings: Many guests rave about the affordable prices, especially for drinks and warmed sandwiches, making it a convenient spot for families. Positive experiences also stem from attentive staff, like Catrina and Denisa, who not only serve but also elevate the dining experience through friendly recommendations.
- Ambiance: While some reviews mention that the furniture showed signs of wear and tear, the overall atmosphere remains pleasant. The lively environment, especially during school dismissal hours, might add a lively buzz, albeit with varying levels of seating comfort.
Despite the mixed reviews, Costa Coffee East Finchley holds a promise of comfort and community within its walls. Whether you’re seeking a quick caffeine boost or a cozy corner to unwind, it’s a destination worth exploring. Today was my first day in East Finchley and I had a very warm welcoming. I stopped off at costa coffee and I felt like something simple like a caramel macchiato. They didn’t have this simply on the menu . I didn’t have much experience on how it’s made either . The server was so friendly and patient and helpful on helping me make a choice and she made a perfect caramel macchiato. I ordered a ham and cheese toast with a billionaires bite after enjoying my macchiato. Again friendly and polite service . Great smile and atmosphere and welcoming staff. Even though they are busy they still hold good customer service . Thank you for the good service and food .

There's a sense of unpleasantry in the atmosphere most due to the unfriendlyness of the staff. Fake smile and constant grunt at customers is not appropriate manner to welcome patrons. The store experiences a high volume of schools once school is out and most of them sit in groups and aren't true customers. On my visit, which was in the afternoon, seating was available and the tables and floor were clean enough for new visits. Inside was warm and I was able to relax and have my meal without much disturbance. There was a huge water leak in the restrooms, though it didn't pose any safety risk to customers, it wasn't really pleasing to see. I hope management get it sorted as soon as possible.Vegetarian options: Meat and dairy-free options are available.Kid-friendliness: The entire family can visit.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is suitable for a wheelchair.

Came in at half , ordered a coffee and wanted to use the toilet. The staff member on duty told me that I wasn't allowed to use it as she didn't want to have to clean it again before they closed at . Disappointed in the customer service of her and her colleague at the till who said this is what they do when they're closing.Inside the furniture looks worn out and beat up. The iced coffee I ordered tasted good and up to the standards I'd expect from the brand.

Very slow service, waited over min for two drinks , only had customer before me . The lady who took the order was nice and quick and efficient but I think her colleague clearly did not want to be here and took extra long for every drink . Also the drinks were tasteless . One was like drinking egg yolk and the other one like fragrances water .
